Come back and Glaze

All your wonderful creations will be transparent glazed after your initial sessions.

You can however choose the option to come back and glaze and learn more about the different effects you can achieve to give your pottery that extra va va voom.

We have a colourful selection of brush on glazes to choose from or you can use under glaze paints if you fancy a more illustrative design. Our pottery host will give you an explanation on the colours, tools and how to glaze.

Make sure you wait 4 weeks before booking onto the glaze session from your initial class so we can ensure your pots have been fired once in the kiln.

Your pots will be ready to collect 2 weeks after you’ve glazed them.

There are 2 options you can choose from:

1 Hour Glaze Session £12

If you have made one piece in one of our handbuilding pottery sessions, you can book this shorter 1 hour Glaze session. If you are coming for 1 hr, please arrive at the beginning of the 2 hour slot in case you need extra time to finish up.

2 Hour Glaze Session £24

If you have made a couple or more pieces from one of our throwing classes or you want to do some intricate design work/glaze multiple hand built pieces, we suggest you choose the longer 2 hour session.

For these dates & times and a maximum group size of 1 to 2 people:

Sun 10:30am - 12:30pm

Sat 1:30pm - 3:30pm

Glazes
